Term 3, 2014

Week Five:

Ciao!

Just a few reminders this week:

1. Check the homework that has been added.

2. If your child has taken home either Federico or Giulia, please get your photos to me; the kids love seeing themselves online.

3. Practise the Words of the Week; these are added each week and you’re encouraged to have a go.

4. Helpers are welcomed and wanted in Italian, so please try and visit.

Have a great week,

Simona

Week Three:

Buongiorno!

We’re into Week Three and everyone is working hard. It’s great to hear our students practising their Italian sounds; make sure that posters are being used as a visual support when practising to aid memory.  Preps celebrated Giulia’s first birthday during their lesson and learnt to sing ‘Tanti Auguri’ – listen to their efforts on Giulia’s page.  Preps are sharing their new song at next Monday’s assembly, so come and listen.

Are you using the Italian Words of the Week at home? In the playground? During other lessons? Please try to increase your vocabulary everyday and have fun with the sound of new words.

Spero che voi abbiate una settimana meravigliosa!

Simona

Week One:

Benvenuti!

Term Three is full of fun and surprises! Be ready to work hard and learn lots of new language. A simple outline of each week’s lessons will be added as a post each week, so make sure you take a look at work samples and posts as they appear.

Grazie,

Simona
